Notfall 3 continues to grow

More patients, new premises Our emergency practice is growing steadily – and the trust of our patients is reflected in the numbers. We treat an average of 80 emergencies and consultations every day – and the trend is rising. In calendar week 3 of 2025, 73 new patients registered with us. The linguistic diversity is particularly pleasing: in addition to German, English and Spanish, Slovak, Greek and French were also spoken. To meet this demand, our homepage is already available in German, English, Spanish and Slovak, with other languages to follow shortly. From February 1st, we will be expanding our premises: two additional consultation offices on the first floor will then be available for treatments. The LG1 laboratory and Erhard Trittibach’s psychological practice are already located there (more information here). Thanks to these innovations, we can further improve the care of our patients – and we look forward to being there for you in the future.

Sticky Situations

Fight or Flight – Dealing with Critical Situations. Following our team meeting at Notfall 3 in Zurich, we had the opportunity to learn valuable practical skills for emergency situations. Dr. med. sc. Kälin gave an input on the topic of “Self-release from a chokehold”. Following a demonstration of the escape technique, we were able to try it out ourselves in a safe environment. Under instruction, we practiced the movements together – naturally without any actual choking, but with great enthusiasm. This exercise was not only instructive but also reminded us of the importance of staying calm and acting effectively in critical situations. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Kälin for this helpful workshop!
